The Powering Business Grant supports South Australian small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in reducing their energy bills and carbon footprint. In Round 3:
You can receive up to 50% of your project costs, capped at $50,000 (ex GST)
The grant can cover the purchase and installation of:

Battery storage
Energy monitoring equipment
Electrical infrastructure upgrades
There’s a total of $3.4 million in funding available, but applications are assessed on a first-come, first-served basis — so it’s best to act quickly.
Round 3 of the Powering Business Grant closes 30 September 2025 or earlier if funds are exhausted — and in previous rounds, funding ran out quickly.
