Solar Energy Adelaide was founded in 2018 by Reefe Eleftheriou, a second generation electrician and award-winning solar installer. After a decade in the solar industry, Reefe saw a need for a more straightforward, customer-focused approach to buying solar, and built a company that prioritises tailored solar solutions over generic, off-the-shelf products.
Raised along the southern beaches of Adelaide, Reefe has always been passionate about nurturing the environment. His career is built on helping others achieve sustainable energy solutions that benefit both the individual and our community.
With years of experience installing and repairing Adelaide’s solar systems — and his partnerships across the industry — Reefe is regularly called upon to advise on the latest solar and battery technology, how to best implement it in our homes, and to help keep industry professionals updated on solar and battery regulation.
In 2025 Reefe proudly founded The Solar Guide Australia, a national directory that vets and recommends trusted local solar installers across the country — built because he saw firsthand how hard it was for homeowners to find installers they could actually trust.
